The Kappa Pi Chapter was chartered at the University of Minnesota in the 1980s and was rechartered as a City-wide chapter on March 31st 1997 by 8 phenomenal women. It was resurrected in Spring 2011 after years of inactivity, and it continues to serve the University of Minnesota campus, Twin Cities, and Greater Minnesota communities. They are the sole undergraduate chapter in the state of Minnesota.
We believe our sorority since its establishment:
- Directly affects positive change.
- Charts a course of action now and beyond.
- Raises consciousness of its members and community.
- Encourages the highest standards of scholastic achievement, and fosters a greater sense of unity among its members.
As the sorority moves toward its centennial in 2020, it retains its original zest for excellence. It espouses the highest academic ideals and that has resulted in its members serving in groundbreaking roles in all fields of endeavor. Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. is poised for perpetual service to mankind into her second century and beyond. We are committed to “building on the principles of Zeta while blazing new paths!”
